Waterproofing Concrete Overlay on Deck.

Waterproofed concrete overlay, acid stained, and engraved concrete tile design with stone texture.

Decorative Concrete Project Description:

Our team tackled a complex job that involved an intricate layering process on a deck that was previously leaking due to faulty tile work. We initiated the process by removing the existing tiles and thoroughly preparing the underlying concrete slab for the next steps. Our specialized team then applied epoxy urethane cement, a robust waterproofing material, mixed with aggregate to fortify the deck’s surface. We followed this up with a concrete overlay, a sturdy layer that further reinforced the deck. To give the deck an aesthetic appeal, we introduced an acid stain, giving the surface a unique, weathered look. The finishing touch was engraving lines at a 45-degree angle, imitating the look of large, luxurious tiles. The result? A leak-free deck that not only serves its functional purpose but also adds an element of style to the club house.
