This decorative technique is called engrave and stain. Firstly, we made a 3/8″ inch concrete overlay using Stone Edge Surfaces material. We stamped using a stone texture. Secondly, we engraved a design featuring a hummingbird and a couple of pumpkins. This is for a barn and a pumpkin patch. We then acid stain the design. Acid will bleed into the engraved line, however, we engrave each line again to clean the lines. We then seal with Deco-Crete D1 sealer. We really enjoyed this project.
