During this workshop, participants will collaboratively construct a multi-element water feature similar to the design shown, including:

🪨 Formless Concrete Boulders

Learn how to sculpt hyper-realistic rock formations without molds, using proven hand-shaping methods that create natural texture, scale, and flow.

🧱 Foam-Core Rock Techniques

Master lightweight foam-core construction to build larger features efficiently while maintaining structural integrity and realism.

🌊 Naturalistic Water Feature Construction

Understand layout, elevation changes, spillways, and visual balance to create flowing water features that look organic and intentional.

🌉 Wood-Look Concrete Bridge

Learn the techniques behind building an arched concrete bridge that convincingly mimics weathered wood planks — including texture, form, and finish.

🎨 Realistic Coloring & Finishing

Apply layered coloring techniques to achieve depth, variation, and stone realism that sells the illusion.

Build Two Sellable Water Features — Start to Finish

Join us for a 3-day, hands-on immersive training where we construct a large-scale decorative concrete water feature and a spruce stump starter feature from the ground up.

This is not a demo.
This is not a classroom lecture.
This is a real build, on-site, using real materials.

What We’re Building

🌊 The Main Feature

A multi-level, naturalistic water feature complete with:

  • Formless concrete boulders

  • Foam-core rock construction

  • Integrated spillways

  • A wood-look arched concrete bridge

  • Professional-grade stone coloring techniques

🌲 The Spruce Stump Starter Feature

On the opposite side of the main build, we’ll construct a smaller “entry-side” water feature built around a realistic concrete spruce stump.

This smaller feature is:

  • Easier to replicate

  • Highly sellable as a stand-alone upgrade

  • Perfect for adding revenue to standard landscape installs
